We are excited to provide a 3 day CE Event (up to 22 CE hours) this fall on Community Hospice and Palliative Care Symposium in partnership with the Circle of Life Hospice.

This program has two viewing options: In-person or via Live Streaming (live streaming details on brochure – this program will use Zoom technology with passcode requirement):

This program has been approved for nursing (ANCC), physician (AMA), pharmacy (ACPE), physical therapy, and long term care administrators. CE procedures and accreditation statements noted at the end of this page.

The course is based on the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) model. The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) project is a national  end-of-life educational program  designed  to  enhance  palliative care in nursing.

UAMS Accreditation Statement: In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. DHS Office of Long Term Care has approved LTC contact hours, and the Arkansas State Board Of Physical Therapy has also approved PT contact hours.
