Arkansas State Police

As administrators of the Arkansas Silver Alert program, it is critical that Arkansas State Police officers are well versed on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. People with dementia are more likely to get lost or be victims of crime and abuse. Police officers who complete the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar will have a better understanding of behaviors common in people with dementia, which will help improve outcomes for the missing person and help keep older adult safe from crime.

In addition, State Police officers will be equipped with knowledge that will help them respond to emergency calls featuring someone with dementia. Click on our Contact Us link to request upcoming dates and details!
