AGEC partners with UAMS to offer one conference each year. These conferences provide an opportunity for health care professionals to learn about health concerns of the aging population and network with other geriatric health care providers.
The Geriatric Update Conference
The Geriatric Update Conference is an opportunity for health care providers who provide primary care to older Arkansans, particularly those who live in rural and medically underserved areas, to learn effective clinical and non-clinical interventions for a variety of geriatric health conditions. This update is held annually and is sponsored by the UAMS Donald W. Reynolds on Aging & Department of Geriatrics.
