Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease – Online
The AGEC offers informational programs to help community members understand Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and build awareness and knowledge. This online program can be viewed individually at your convenience at our PatientsLearn page: Arkansas Geriatric Education Collaborative.
Family Caregiver Workshop for Dementia – Online
This 2-3-hour online, self-paced workshop is free to the public. The 16-module workshop presents an overview of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and provides caregiving tips that contribute to maintaining respect, dignity, and quality of life for the person living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Caregiver Support Group – Online
Support groups provide an opportunity for caregivers to gain information, share ideas, problem-solve, and receive support from others going through similar situations.
Our online caregiver support group is facilitated by a clinical professional and is open to any Arkansan who is a family caregiver of a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia. Click the link at the bottom of this page to request more information or to join an online support group.
